So many pieces of the puzzle make up who I am. Strangely, it would seem that all of the pieces came from different puzzle boxes, and now my life would appear to be a Jackson Pollock painting of some sort, minus the alcohol-induced frenzy, but it’s who I am.

My Background
I was born and raised in Nashville, TN as an only child, with two surrogate older brothers. As a child, my mother taught me the importance of speaking my mind and letting my voice be heard. My father taught me the true value of intellect, and that every decision bears a consequence. These ideas have shaped my life and who I have become as a person.
My Education
As a result of my father’s influence on my academic studies, education has always been important to me. I graduated from Antioch High School in 1997 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2002. I went back to school in 2005 where I earned my certification in Web Development from Nashville State Tech in 2006.
My Career
Professionally, I am the Web Developer for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency in Nashville, TN. In freelance, I have designed and developed Web sites for area businesses & non-profit groups such as Nashville Integrated Medicine, Nashville Research Group, Tennessee Paranormal Society, Hot For T-Shirts, Nashville Pagan Pride Day, & Forever Memories Videography – just to name a few.
Random Facts About Me
When I’m not working on Web projects I love to have coffee with friends and discuss random thoughts and expressions. I sometimes cry at the strangest movies for no reason. I fight for animal rights and would probably be the “cat lady” if my husband wasn’t allergic to them. I was a Girl Scout AND a Girl Scout Leader, just like my mom. When I was a kid I wanted to be either and artist or a professional bowler when I grew up. I practice Vodou and Hoodoo. I played sports in school. I’ve recently started playing the guitar. I am forever redesigning the interior of my apartment. I love all things related to nature, new experiences, and being a geek chic.
